Ashton Marine Services Ltd add Molabo 48v inboard and outboards to our range of electric engines
We are delighted to announce we have become UK wide dealers for the Molabo range of 48v German engineered 48v electric inboard and outboard motors.
These award winning plug and play engines are quick to install, safe to touch and use the patented intelligent stator cage drive.
At the heart of the innovative Intelligent Stator Cage Drive (ISCAD) technology is the electric motor’s new stator. Instead of complicated windings, simple rods are used which form a kind of cage.
The Aries electric inboard
- The compact unit has an output of up to 50kw
- Low voltage (safe to touch)
- Simple installation process (we even provide the engine mounting kit!)
- Uses 3rd party batteries. LiFePO4 recommended
- German design and manufactured
- No belts to service
- UK wide support network – as its not high voltage – so no expensive high voltage technician required.
This really is German engineering at its best. Its state of the art, simple, reliable, and easy to support. We can even give you more power if you want to use it on rivers by simply doing a small software upgrade!
Aries 50kw Electric Outboards
The Aries 50kw 48v outboards are available in long and extra-long shaft lengths and use the same patented stator cage as the inboard. Like conventional outboards they come with:

Hydraulic trim and tilt
Quick and simple installation
UK wide support including remote diagnostics
